y. As the following story, Scrooge declined his nephew's invitation to have dinner with his family. And he always mocked the Christmas spirit. He never believed in Christmas and never wanted to share his happiness and money with others. He spent most of his life in an inn, where he had rooms that belonged to Marley once. He kept a ghost on his door, named Marley's ghost.

Suddenly, there was a big knocker on the door. It was bound by a heavy chain and told him its tragic fate. "Three spirits will come to Scrooge and then fade away." The ghost stood quietly on the coach. But suddenly, it made a strange noise.

Marley's ghost broke away from the door. He sat on the coach and looked around with a blank expression.

But then, three spirits appeared. One stood for the past. It told Scrooge his "merry Christmas" every time he met someone. It also showed the first work of Scrooge's boss, Fezziwig. On Christmas days, Scrooge was treated very well by Fezziwig. But as Scrooge grew older and richer, he started losing things on Christmas days. The second spirit stood for the present. It told Scrooge that he was greedy. He had no mercy towards others, wasted his time, and lost everything. The third spirit stood for the future. It reminded him that he had regret to acknowledge. And it inspired him. He understood money wasn't worth it. Love and care were more important than material things.

At the last chapter, which is chapter 5, Scrooge changed himself. He gave mercy to the poor. And he went on to have dinner with his uncle.

All in all, this story has a perfect end. From the way Scrooge interactsed with the ghost, it shows that in the world where money isn't everything and love is more important than material wealth, there's hope and people are willing to give a living. The ghosts of past lives, present acts of greed, and future regret all contribute to showing how true love and care can bring happiness to those he helps most.
